Join us for this Christmas Around Chicago Bakery Bus tour where we will visit four bakeries and sample a variety of delicious sweets and treats! At each of the stops, you will have an opportunity to shop for sweets to bring home or give as gifts. On our way to each bakery, our tour guide will discuss the history of Christmas holiday traditions of the Polish, Germans, Italians, Irish, Mexicans and more. During the tour, we will stop for lunch at Staropolska Restaurant (based on availability) in the Logan Square area of Chicago. This restaurant is known to offer the finest polish cuisine with a superb dining atmosphere. Guests will enjoy a Family-style Polish lunch of potato pancakes, cucumber salad, rice with vegetables, meat perogies, sausage with sauerkraut, and breaded chicken stuffed with cheese.
