What are your hours?

NLCPD Administration Building Office hours are:
Monday-Friday: 9:00am to 5:00pm
Saturday & Sunday: Closed

Lions Community Center:
All registration is taken at the Administration Building. A variety of programs and room rentals are held at this location. Doors will remain locked to the public. 

Can I Volunteer or Perform Community Service/Volunteer Hours for the Park District?

When do I receive the Program Guides?

Our program guide is available online only.

  • The Summer Program Guide is available online at the beginning of May.
  • The Fall Program Guide is available online at the beginning of August.
  • The Winter/Spring Program Guide is available online at the beginning of December.

Can I have a Program Guide mailed to my home?

We no longer print our seasonal Program Guides. You can view our current Program Guide by clicking here.

How do I find out if there is an opening in a class?

You may call the Administration Building Office at (815) 485-3584 during regular business hours.

How do I register for park district programs?

Please review our Registration Information for full details. The Registration Information page will provide residents and nonresidents with details on each way to register. For any further questions, please contact us at (815) 485-3584.

If I don’t live within the boundaries of the New Lenox Community Park District, can I still participate in classes?

Yes, although for some of our programs there is an out-of-district fee. Where applicable, nonresident fees are indicated by “NR” in the seasonal Program Guide. For further details regarding nonresident registration policies, please view our Registration Information page.

Do you have rooms and/or parks available for rent?

Yes, we have several options to fit your needs. Please call (815) 485-3584 during regular business hours for further information. For more details review our Park Rental & Room Rentals web pages.

When does Kiddie Kampus registration begin?

Kiddie Kampus registration for the next school year will began early March.  Details will be available in the Winter-Spring Program Guide.  Please contact the Recreation Supervisor, Kelly Matson at 815.485.3584 for details and availability.

What is required for Kiddie Kampus registration?

There is a $50.00 NON-REFUNDABLE registration fee, a $10 T-shirt fee, along with the first month’s tuition. A copy of your child’s birth certificate MUST be provided at registration. A voter’s card or tax bill is REQUIRED at registration for verification of residency. A child must be three or four on or before September 1st. A child must be able to handle bathroom hygiene independently (potty trained, no diapers). It is very helpful if the child is able to zip/button independently.

Age Requirements

All age requirements are as of September 1st unless otherwise noted. No exceptions will be given.
