Come learn how to play pickleball, one of the fastest growing sports in America. In this two-hour clinic, you will learn the rules of the game and the skills you will need to play a game of pickleball. There will be a 5-1 student to instructor ratio on each court. Paddles and balls will be provided for the clinic. Wear tennis shoes and bring water to drink. Participants will still need to register despite the program being free.

Horseback Riding

Get up and go! it’s time to ride at Nova Quarter Horses! Fun for all ages at any riding level, no previous experience is needed. Come out to learn both Western and English disciplines taught by our highly qualified trainers and instructors. We offer both an indoor and outdoor arena, so Nova is able to offer lessons year round. A 5-lesson card includes 5 individual one hour group lessons. Helmets are available at parent’s request. One your lesson card is purchased, call Nova to schedule your lessons at (708) 479-3696. There is a limit of one initial Park District 5-lesson card per family. Additional lessons to be purchased directly through Nova. Jeans and boots or hard soled shoes are required.

Six County Senior Games 2024

Age 50 & Older
The Six County Senior Games is coming up in July 2024 and will be celebrating its 42nd year with 15 different sporting events for adults 50 years and older! Events include individual sports such as pickleball, track and field, swimming, bowling, golf, table tennis, and more. Team sports include softball, volleyball, and 3 on 3 basketball. The events are held throughout the Chicago suburbs. Awards are given and all participants receive a Senior Games T-shirt. Entry forms will be available after May 10.
