Hatha Yoga is used to create balance in the body and the mind. This is accomplished by looking to the eight limbs of yoga including asana (physical movement) and pranayama (breathing exercises). During the course, we will discover how the linking of physical movement and breath work can begin to slow the mind and release stress. This class is great for people who are looking to decompress from their day and need low impact exercises that will still build strength. All levels of experience and flexibility are welcome! For your comfort, please come to class on an empty stomach (eat two hours before class) and wear loose fitting clothing. Please bring your own yoga mat, strap and a water bottle to class. Registration includes participation for Yoga in the Park.
