Join us as we embark on this highly unique “Urban Safari” designed to examine some of the historical wonders and architectural gems scattered across the city. The tour route will showcase all the Chicago River and downtown “Loop” has to offer. On this highly unique tour our guests will hear captivating stories about the city’s rich history, view and learn about some of Chicago’s most iconic architecture and artwork, stroll the “Loop” while listening to heartrending stories of some of the city’s worse disasters and experience the newly expanded Chicago River Walk that opened in 2017. Following the tour, we will head over to Greektown for the 29th annual Taste of Greektown. Hellenic pride will take center stage with this acclaimed culinary fest on Halsted Street. Taste of Greektown is a romantic weekend celebration for lovers of Mediterranean culture. Blending Old World traditions with a 21st century freshness, the tantalizing food and spirits from neighborhood eateries will again be the main attraction. Please note this is a walking tour. Registration deadline is Friday, August 3.
