NLCPD Celebrates Commissioner Dale Larson for 25 Years of Service

The New Lenox Community Park District (NLCPD) proudly congratulates Commissioner Dale Larson on receiving the Illinois Association of Park Districts’ (IAPD) prestigious recognition for 25 years of exemplary service. Dale Larson’s remarkable dedication and tireless contributions have significantly enhanced the quality of life in the New Lenox community.

Dale Larson joined the New Lenox Park Board in 1999, following in the footsteps of his father, Marty J. Larson Sr., and has served as Board Secretary ever since. During his tenure, Dale has been instrumental in numerous community projects, including park renovations, securing vital grants, and fostering partnerships with local and state organizations. His efforts have helped secure over $6 million in state funding for parks and facilities, greatly benefiting the New Lenox community.

From supporting youth athletics to volunteering his time and resources for local causes, Dale Larson embodies the mission of NLCPD to provide exceptional community life. His leadership and advocacy have also extended to his service on the IAPD Board of Trustees and various committees, leaving an enduring legacy on park districts statewide.
