Martial Arts

Age 5 & Older 
This is a foundational karate course taught by an AKA certified senior student of Carroll’s Martial Arts focused on building self-discipline, gross motor skills, eye-hand coordination, balance and the flexibility necessary for learning any martial art. This class also helps students build self-confidence to enhance physical fitness and self-control. Please wear loose fitting clothing to class. Uniforms are optional until Pee Wee Level 2. Full Gi is required at Pee Wee Level 4 and may be purchased from the instructor when needed.

 

Mini

Ages 5-6
LCC (Room 1) Entry C
With continued enrollment, your child will have the opportunity to advance through four Mini Ranks and nine Pee Wee Ranks earning a certificate at each level and a pin or belt at Pee Wee Level 1. New students are welcome as well as continuing students who are working on their Mini 1, 2, 3 or 4 ranks.

Pee Wee

Age 7 & Older

With continued enrollment, students will have the opportunity to advance through nine Pee Wee Ranks earning a certificate at each level and a pin or belt at Pee Wee Level 1. New students are welcome as well as continuing students who are working on their Pee Wee Ranks (PW 1-PW 9). In order to receive a belt, students must have the Gi pants and the school T-shirt. Full Gi is not required until Pee Wee Level 4 and can be purchased from the instructor.

Jr./Adult

Age 12 & Older
LCC (Bi-Centennial Room) Entry C
Instructed by: Kyoshi Carroll
With continued enrollment, students will have the opportunity to advance through White to Black Belt earning a certificate at each belt level. New students are welcome as are continuing students who are working on their White to Black Belt Ranks. A mix of coordination drills, two-man drills, exercise, forms and self-defense are taught to improve fitness level. Full Gi is required and can be purchased from the instructor.
