Moonjars offer a visual, tactile beginning for children to understand how to use money. Students listen to a story about two children who are making choices about spending their money. Then the children construct their own Moonjar moneyboxes to take home. They include one for saving, one for spending and one for sharing. During the session, students talk about the concepts of what are wishes and hopes while learning about making good financial choices. Registration deadline is Friday, July 13.
