If you have ever been interested in taking a tour of one of the largest commercial stone quarries in the world and would like to view the overall structure of a fossil reef – the most famous of the several 410-million-year-old reefs unearthed in the Chicago area – then this is the tour for you! The tour takes approximately two and a half – three hours. Fee includes transportation and fee.
