Is that Pirate Ships floating at Hibernia Lake?!? You and your team will Float Your Boat through a challenging course. Your boat must stay afloat with one team member in the boat during the entire race. The design and creativity of your boat is endless. Fee will include five sheets of corrugated cardboard, one roll of duct tape and a bag of zip ties. All items in this kit MUST be used in the design of your boat. Additional building materials are up to the participants. No motors, caulk or adhesives are permitted. Epoxy paint may be used. Personal floatation devices are required. Prizes will be awarded for 1st and 2nd Place Finishers and Most Creative Design. Boat inspection begins at 10:00am. Our Concession stand will be open. Teams consist of two or four members. Registration deadline is Wednesday, July 13.
